We are honored to share that we've had another successful year at Family Trust. It was a record year as we assisted over 7,000 members with their lending needs. More importantly, we are financially strong and well-positioned for the future. In fact, for five consecutive years, we have earned the Bauer 5-star rating, their highest recognition.
We were excited to introduce business lending last year, helping businesses expand and thrive. As you know, there is a lot of growth going on right here in our backyard. Our home, where our Credit Union was first formed in 1957 as Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Federal Credit Union, is being redeveloped. We began back then in a small stockroom at the bleachery and are happy to remain right across the street 66 years later. Great changes are taking place, and we are thrilled to be part of this community.
In other good news, our members have embraced our digital services as we continue to make banking easier for everyone with the ability to bank at home. This year we are rolling out digital studios in our branches, which means faster service for our members.
And, for the first time in our history, we will expand beyond York County. While we will be moving into new markets, York County is still our home.
Our philosophy of people helping people remains at the core of our mission. As the only Credit Union headquartered in York County, we take our role in giving back to our neighbors. This is our fifth year of partnering with the city on the MyRide bus services. We continue to expand our efforts by supporting local housing initiatives. Overall, we continue to invest back into our community with over $250,000 to schools, non-profits, and other community initiatives.
